My name is Ariel and I am fifteen years old. Last year my family and I moved from Toronto, Ontario to Neve Daniel, Israel. From first grade till eighth grade I learned in Toronto, in a school called Netivot Hatorah Day School and from ninth grade I have learned in Israel, at a school called Neve Chana.
I have a lot of different hobbies; such as spending time with my friends, listening to all different kinds of music, reading books that interest me and being with my family. My favorite books are; "The Book Thief", "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" and "The Good Earth". All these books are books that my grandfather bought for me to pass on his love for them.
My credo is that everyone should follow their beliefs even if it is different then the beliefs of others because if everyone believes in the same things, life would be very boring.
My favorite quote which is also the quote that I used for my eighth grade yearbook is "A true friend is hard to find, hard to leave and impossible to forget". Since I knew I was moving to Israel at the end of eighth grade, this quote influenced me and especially now that I live in Israel I know that I will never forget or lose touch with my friends from Toronto.
